Part 3 | State Artificial Intelligence Laws

In the absence of a Federal statute, states are already passing their own AI Acts.  This will create the same confusing matrix of conflicting AI laws that we have seen with data privacy.  As we note in this commentary, if a developer uses personal information in its AI models it triggers both data privacy and AI laws.  Preparing for compliance requires a deep dive into your data provenance.
