Britt Law is a boutique law firm dedicated to helping clients navigate the complex landscape of corporate and technology law. The firm focuses on artificial intelligence and data privacy while also serving as counsel for data breaches and cybersecurity compliance to a broad range of clients, including global enterprises, early-stage technology companies and investors.
Based in the Harbor Entrepreneur Center in Mount Pleasant, SC, Britt Law was founded by Steve Britt, a seasoned attorney with more than 25 years of technology law experience and a special focus on AI and data privacy. Britt established the firm to help companies analyze their data protection practices and implement an effective and affordable comprehensive data management program.

Meet Steve Britt
Steve is a deeply experienced corporate and technology attorney with world-class expertise in cyber, data privacy, and artificial intelligence. He also has extensive experience with software licensing, cloud, SaaS and data hosting. He handles all types of corporate matters, including stock plans, employment agreements, capital raises, and M&A transactions.
He has practiced law in Washington, D.C., Tysons Corner, Virginia and now Charleston, South Carolina. He recently served as Counsel, Cyber, Data Privacy & Artificial Intelligence for Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein, LLP, a 300-lawyer firm with eight offices.
Steve formed Britt Law to better leverage his data management experience and to offer a wider range of legal services with more flexible fee arrangements. This includes fractional GC and fractional data protection engagements.
